Responsibilities

• Manage filing and reproduction of plans and other documents
• Solicit proposal from subcontractors and vendors
• Prepare subcontractor bid packages
• Attend Pre-Bid Meeting and Site Visits
• Transmit addenda and other bid information to subcontractors
• Ensure proper coverage from subcontractors on bid day
• Seek & qualify new subcontractors
• Maintain resourcefulness to gain better pricing from subcontractors
• Enter all relevant information into Estimating Software
• Review specifications and drawings to determine proper scope
• De-scope bids for completeness and identify qualified subcontractors
• Hand-off bid documents and estimating documents to project management

Qualifications

• 4-Year Degree and Construction Experienced Preferred
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and other documents
• Interpersonal and Organizational Skills
• Proficient with MS Office Outlook, Word, and Excel
